Big East Men's Alumni News

Former St. John's player Malik Sealy (SJU '92) was killed in a car accident late last night on his way home from his Minnesota Timberwolves teammate Kevin Garnett's birthday party. Primarily a reserve his first 6 seasons in the NBA, he became a starter when he signed with the Timberwolves as a free agent two seasons ago, much to Malik's dismay.

NY Knicks fans will remember him for leaving his Indiana Pacers playbook behind at the airport when the Pacers flew in to New York for a playoff game against the Knicks. The playbook eventually ended up in the hands of Don Imus who proceeded to read the scouting reports of various Knicks players on his radio program.
