UConn Men's Polls
The UConn Men (34-2, 19-2) are the unanimous #1 in the USA Today/ESPN poll (all 26 first place votes and with 650 points, down from 699 points last poll due to the smaller number of voters) after going 6-0 the last 3 weeks while winning the NCAA Tournament with wins over Texas/San Antonio, New Mexico, Iowa, Gonzaga, Ohio State, and Duke. They finished the season #2 in Sagarin's rankings. The final AP poll was released yet at the end of the regular season. Jerry Palm's Unofficial RPI Rankings aren't updated to reflect games in the NCAA Tournament so UConn's final ranking remains #3.
UConn Women's Polls
The UConn Women (29-5, 20-1) dropped to #8 in the USA Today/ESPN poll (535 points, down from 858 last poll) after going 2-1 in the NCAA Tournament with wins over St. Francis (PA) and Xavier and a loss to Iowa State. The final AP poll was released yet at the end of the regular season. Dan Schales unofficial RPI Rankings isn't updated to reflect NCAA Tournament games so UConn's ranking remains at #5.
