Suspended by the NCAA on Jan. 19, 1997 (just before a game big, nationally televised game against Kansas) for the remainder of the season after the 14th regular season game of his senior year for accepting a plane ticket from an agent. (Ricky Moore received a two-game suspension as well.)

Selected in the 5th round by CT Pride as their 5th pick/46th overall in the 1997 CBA Draft. Played for the Connecticut Skyhawks of the U.S. Basketball League in '97 and '98. Took part in an NBA camp (but went undrafted), worked out in the summer with the NY Knicks, but didn't stick. He signed to play in Turkey, but returned in two weeks. Finally, he settled with the Connecticut Pride of the CBA. Traded on Dec. 21, 1998 to the Rockford Lightning. CT Pride re-acquired his rights on Nov. 9, 1999. Released on Nov. 17, 1999. Signed with the Trenton Shooting Stars of the new International Basketball League (IBL) on Nov. 25, 1999. Released on Jan. 4, 2000. Signed by the San Diego Stingrays of the IBL on Jan. 28, 2000.

Played in a summer league for players 6'8" and under in the Phillipines during the summer of 2000. Started the 2000-01 season with the Association Sportive Golbey - Epinal in France.

Signed with CT Pride on Dec. 1, 2000. Named to the CBA All-Star team. Played for a couple of weeks with the Pride after the CBA folded and the team joined the IBL. Left the team in early March to play in the Venezuelan professional league for Toros de Aragua but he left the team before the end of the season to play in Puerto Rico for Piratas de Quebradillas. Has apparently signed with AC Near East in Greece (the team Donny Marshall played briefly for at the beginning of the 2000-01 season) for the 2001-02 season.
